The Kasi Tech Summit is the annual flagship of the Kasi Tech platform. On 30 September 2026 it brings 400 township tech founders, small businesses, corporates, government and ecosystem partners together in Alexandra, Johannesburg for one focused day.
The theme responds to what the market asked for. In our survey of 343 township entrepreneurs, AI tools for business was the single most requested skill, followed by software development and automation. The Summit unpacks these technologies in a simplified, practical manner, with a key focus on hands-on teaching and learnings that entrepreneurs can apply in their businesses immediately.

On the day this means live masterclasses, working demonstrations, a showcase floor and direct access to the corporates, tools and funders that township tech businesses need to grow. As an annual platform, each edition measures adoption and reports impact, building a year on year record of township digital transformation.
